Connecting communities and preserving cultural heritage
People & Place Pillar
We work to connect communities with the land and preserve the cultural heritage of the Puyallup Watershed.

- Partner Cultivation – Identify, develop, and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with other organizations. Collaborate with others to access new funding, volunteer networks, expertise, and visibility.
- Community Engagement – Proactively engage with communities and the public within the watershed to understand their interests and achieve mutual goals.
- Cultural Resources – Preserve and promote the cultural and natural resources of tribal and indigenous communities. Collaborate with tribal partners to protect important cultural and historical sites.
- Recreation & Viewsheds – Support and increase recreational opportunities in the watershed and promote viewsheds as appropriate.
