Protecting forests, watersheds, and farmland
Land Pillar
We work to protect and steward the diverse lands of the Puyallup Watershed for the benefit of people, fish, and ecosystems.

Community Forests
Acquire and manage forest land for multiple benefits, including timber harvest, fish and wildlife habitat, hydrologic, and recreational benefits.
Riparian & Wildlife Corridors
Acquire land to protect river, stream, and wildlife corridors for connectivity to benefit salmon and wildlife, including listed species. We are also interested in acquiring important riparian areas lower in the watershed, including floodplains in order to restore streams to more natural conditions.
Land Stewardship
Manage forest lands and open space; revegetate; control invasive species; build and maintain trails for access and recreation.
Farmland Preservation
Acquire development rights or fee simple to preserve farmland; could include regenerative agriculture and the development of community farms.
The Puyallup Watershed
The Puyallup Watershed spans from the glaciers of Mount Rainier to the shores of Puget Sound, encompassing forests, farmlands, and urban areas that all depend on healthy land and water systems.
